Two Department of Romance and Classical Studies Italian Minor students: Abigail Bies and Leo Bruce, were selected as winners of the contest “The Italian Writer Italo Calvino and the Theme of Sustainability.” The students were honored by Marina Lenza, Director of the Education Office in the Consulate of Italy in Chicago, Allegra Baistrocchi, the Consul of Italy in Detroit, and by RCS Italian faculty at a ceremony Wednesday, December 6 at 3:00 pm.
