Ana Ponce is a Ph.D. student in Hispanic Cultural Studies and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Romance and Classical Studies at Michigan State University. She holds a B.F.A. in Visual Arts and an M.A. in Gender Studies, both from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro in México. She has attended several seminars and workshops on interdisciplinary art and psychology and has a diploma in Film Studies with emphasis on Psychoanalysis. She has been teaching languages to students in different educational levels since 2012.
