From ancient inscriptions to modern mottos, Latin is everywhere. LTN 101: Elementary Latin I is your starting point for understanding the language that shaped law, science, religion, and literature for centuries. 

In this course, you’ll: 

  • Learn core Latin vocabulary and grammar 
  • Practice reading and translating basic Latin passages 
  • Build a foundation in Latin syntax and sentence structure
