Each semester brings a new focus, from the Portuguese maritime expansion to the Brazilian diaspora and the cinematic adaptation of literary classics.

This course invites you to engage with history, literature, and media while deepening your understanding of Portuguese-speaking cultures. Whether you’re passionate about global history, film, or cultural studies, PRT 340 provides a fresh perspective on the rich, interconnected world of Luso-Brazilian culture.
