SPN 320: Cultural Readings and Composition (W)

Do you want to improve your ability to understand and interpret texts written in Spanish? Do you want to strengthen your writing abilities in the language (and beyond)? If so, the Spanish program has a course for you!

SPN 320-Cultural Readings and Composition is designed to help you become a better reader and writer. To achieve these goals, we will study various texts and will complete different writing assignments. The course will emphasize the entire writing process and will help you see writing as an important communicative tool. We will pay special attention to precision, objectivity, organization, and clarity. Successful completion of the course will prepare you for subsequent courses in the Spanish program and it will also enhance how you communicate with others in personal, academic, and professional settings.
