REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF CERTIFICATE

This microspecialization helps develop the unique skills needed to provide effective translations and offers a transcriptable certification for related courses taken at MSU. While this undergraduate certificate is not a professional certification as a translator, it is a starting point for participants to improve their translation skills.

  • ROM 240 (offered in Fall semesters)
  • FRN 420 or SPN 452
  • One additional 400-level FRN or SPN course
  • Experiential component (TBD with Professor Grubbs)
