The Critical Languages Scholarship (CLS) Program is a fully funded study abroad program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State that provides intensive overseas language and cultural immersion and is open to U.S. students enrolled in all degree programs.

The languages offered for summer 2021 are: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, Urdu.

The CLS application is open and the deadline for summer 2021 programs is November 17, 2020.  For more information about the program visit https://clscholarship.org.
